Heart First Hero of the Month: Heather Neu

Congratulations to Heather Neu on being nominated by her co-workers as the HeartFirst Hero of the Month for April!  Heather is a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) and has been with HeartFirst for 4 years.  She has worked in the medical field as an echocardiographer for the past 11 years.  Heather is a North Texas native and grew up just north of Denton.  She now lives in the Plano area with her 13 year old daughter.

Heather recently took on more leadership responsibilities while her supervisor was out on maternity leave, and “handled it all with significant success,” said one of her peers.  “She coordinated patient schedules, staffing and dealt with any unexpected surprises with finesse and efficiency.”  “Heather is knowledgeable and always pleasant with patients.  She is always willing to go above and beyond without exception.  Heather is an asset to HeartFirst and a very important part of the testing team.”
