Heart First Hero of the Month: Allecia Redden

HeartFirst congratulates Allecia Redden for being nominated by her peers as the Hero of the Month for March 2011. Allecia “wears many hats” in her role as Executive Assistant at HeartFirst and she is truly a team player.  Her duties vary greatly from day to day as she performs her normal tasks and pitches in to assist in many different departments.  She has been with HeartFirst for 4 years and has worked in the medical field for more than 25 years.  On weekends, Allecia works as a telemetry tech at a local acute care hospital.

“Allecia’s personalized attention to payroll needs is invaluable to the HeartFirst staff,” says one of her peers.  “She is always calm and patient with all staff and patients, regardless of what the crisis of the day might be.  She is a true ‘servant’ to the staff and patients of HeartFirst.” 

Allecia has 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren with whom she spends as much time as possible.  She is originally from California, but is happy to call Texas home for 11 years.  Her heart is the size of Texas and she loves animals of all kinds, especially her dachshund, Elizabeth.  In her spare time she enjoys reading and selling jewelry.
