Shirley Gibbs

There are many occasions in which Shirley has helped her co-workers, but most recently she stepped in at the end of her shift, even though she was on her way to a class.

"Shirley did something special this week (although not unusual for her). It was just ten minutes prior to the end of her shift, Haven and I were trying to figure out a patient's insurance information. The patient was to be seen the next day. We enlisted Shirley's assistance and she willingly joined the effort despite the fact that she was on her way to a class. She made a couple of phone calls to the insurance company and continued to work with Haven until the patient€™s insurance was verified for his upcoming visit. She left late, but made sure the work was done. Shirley's unselfish collaborative attitude is important to the success of this practice."

Shirley moved to the Dallas area in 1999 from Kansas City, Missouri. She has worked for Dr. Rellas since that time and happily joined him when he started HeartFirst. Shirley has a daughter and 9 year old granddaughter who still live in the Kansas City area.
