July 2011 Hero of the Month
Linda Tannenbaum, ARRT, CNMT
Congratulations to Linda Tannenbaum for being selected by her peers as the HeartFirst Hero of the Month for July 2011. Linda is a registered Radiology Tech as well as a Nuclear Medicine Tech who has been with HeartFirst since 2007 (excluding a short 7 months away). She has 15 years of medical experience and is a graduate of Ole Miss and the University Medical Center of Mississippi. A native of Mississippi with strong ties to Louisiana, Linda moved from Dunn, LA to Texas in 2004.
Linda is known as a “favorite of staff and patients” and her “demeanor is positively contagious!” One of her co-workers commented that she “handles patients with compassion and finesse.” She “responds to problems with an objective approach and meticulously works through the options.” The love, however, is not one-sided. Linda says, “I love HeartFirst so much that I have worked here twice! I feel that we all work together as a team, I can count on everyone, as they can count on me.”
Linda and her husband/best friend, David, will be celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary this fall. They have two boys, Jason 28 and Alton 21 and a 15 month old granddaughter named Breeze. Her love is also extended to her 5 “critters” (4 dogs and one 19 year old cat).
