February 2010 Hero of the Month

HeartFirst proudly announces Leah Kimberling as the “HeartFirst Hero of the Month.” “Leah is an overall great employee. She is wonderful with her patients and very helpful with her co-workers.” “Leah makes patient care run smoothly. Whenever I need recent blood work printed out, she happily volunteers to help out.” These are just a few of the glowing comments from her co-workers who voted for her to receive this honor.

Leah has been with HeartFirst for two and a half years as a Medical Assistant (MA). She received her MA training at El Centro College in downtown Dallas. After completing the program, Leah worked for several years in cardiology and plans to go into nursing in the near future.

North Texas has always been home for Leah. She was born in Lewisville and went to high school in The Colony. She is currently engaged and plans to get married in October of this year. Leah lives in Carrollton with her fiancé, Randy, and her miniature Doberman, Princess.
