June 2010 Hero of the Month

Adrianna Gamboa is our Hero for the Month of June. Adrianna is a Lead Medical Assistant (MA), and she has been with HeartFirst for 7 years. She is the very proud mother of 2 boys who love to play baseball. Some of the comments from her peers include, “Adrianna is very knowledgeable and a role model to look up to. She always has a smile for all and never shows stress even on the busiest of days. She handles our patients in a gentle, caring and confident manner.” We recently had a patient who was deaf and not accompanied by an interpreter. Adrianna worked with the patient personally by writing down and explaining all of the aspects of the patients visit. “She was resourceful and professional in her care of the patient,” commented another co-worker. “Adrianna is a wonderful lead Medical Assistant.”
