William E. Wallace, DO, FACOS, FCCP

Dr. William Wallace has been a practicing Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon in the DFW area for more than 20 years. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Texas College of Osteophathic Medicine, Fort Worth in 1980. Dr. Wallace completed his Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery training at the Texas Heart Institute. He is board certified in General Surgery, Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, and Surgical Critical Care.

In 2008, Dr. Wallace was recognized in the Guide to America’s Top Surgeons by the Consumers’ Research Council of America. This recognition is awarded to physicians based on experience, training, professional associations and board certifications. Dr. Wallace has also been named as a “Top Doc” for 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 by Fort Worth, Texas: The City’s Magazine and a Texas “Super Doctor” in Texas Monthly Magazine. In addition, he has been named to Marquis Who’s Who in the world and America, and in medicine and healthcare.

His main areas of interests include coronary artery bypass grafting, including off pump techniques; valve repair and replacement; arrhythmia ablation surgery; thoracic oncology; and vascular surgery including aortic, carotid and peripheral artery surgery.
